— Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, apologizing for getting really drunk during a Michigan State football game against Michigan

Fans who came to Spartan Stadium in East Lansing on Oct. 30 got to watch Michigan State beat Michigan, 37-33. Most fans had a great time seeing the home team come back in the fourth quarter. But one attendee just had to apologize for having a little too much fun. According to Nessel’s description, she started to “feel ill,” then was taken out of the stadium in a wheelchair, and was driven home, where she slept it off. Nessel was facing some scrutiny for her actions — and her admission — from conservatives in the state.
